The pastel of the kids was hand drawn from a photo but the others are from life. The bearded guy in the hat was done in Judith Carducci's workshop.

This is a charcoal drawing of a statue in the secret garden on the grounds of th Ringling Museum. She took quite a few hours to get to this point working one or two days a week over about a months time. The sun moved south and does'nt hit her in the same way now so she is done.

The eye of David
is first cast drawing. Sight size.

I have a friend who wants to see my painting work. I want to show it to him so I am creating this blog. I will keep my words to a minimum but would like to say that practice has become my good friend. I have improved greatly in the recent past through as much practice as I have been able to manage. Though I think I could probably manage more if time and attention allowed. I have particularly enjoyed drawing and painting in a roomful of other artists also intent on their work and improvement.
When funds allow I will purchase a better camera and work on improving the recording of my work.
